Respiration and Circulations
An octopus uses four main methods for respiration they are well-developed gills with well-developed blood vessels. The mantle which is an organ found in the mollusks, the epidermis is the outer layer of the skin and lastly the siphon which pumps water in the gill system to enable the octopus to breath.
One or more hearts pump the blood through the arteries, two spaces called synuses which surrounds the organs and that allows tissues to exchange materials with the hemolymaph.
